The information on MyHomeProjectPlanner.com is provided for general educational and planning purposes. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional advice, inspection, engineering, design, installation, or other services provided by qualified professionals.
Every home, property, electrical system, climate, building condition, equipment configuration, and project is different. Actual requirements and results may vary from the estimates provided by this website.
Calculator Estimates
Our calculators are designed to provide practical estimates based on information entered by the user and assumptions incorporated into each calculator.
Calculator results are estimates only. They should not be treated as guarantees of actual performance, costs, equipment requirements, energy usage, project outcomes, or suitability for a particular application.
For example, actual battery runtime, generator capacity, solar production, electrical loads, equipment performance, and other results may vary because of equipment specifications, operating conditions, efficiency, temperature, installation conditions, local requirements, and other factors.
You are responsible for reviewing calculator results and determining whether additional professional evaluation is appropriate before making a purchase or beginning a project.
Electrical, Solar, Generator, and Battery Projects
Projects involving electrical systems, batteries, solar installations, generators, transfer equipment, fuel systems, or other potentially hazardous equipment may require professional design, installation, inspection, permits, or approval.
Do not rely solely on information or calculator results from this website when making decisions involving electrical safety or other potentially hazardous work.
Consult an appropriately qualified professional and follow applicable laws, codes, permits, manufacturer instructions, and safety requirements.
Building and Home Improvement Projects
Home improvement projects may be subject to local building codes, zoning requirements, permits, inspections, structural requirements, manufacturer specifications, and other regulations.
Requirements can vary by location and may change over time. Verify applicable requirements with the appropriate local authority and qualified professionals before beginning regulated or structural work.
